Jicable’27 is the international forum dedicated to insulated power cables and accessories. It brings together experts in research, industrial development, installation, operation and diagnosis — from Low-Voltage and special cables to Ultra-High-voltage links and emerging technologies.

For the first time in September 2027, from 5 to 9, Jicable’27 will bring the global insulated power cable community to Lyon for five days of scientific exchange, technical insight and field-proven experience. For manufacturers, network operators, researchers, consultants, installers and end users, the congress is a unique opportunity to explore the latest developments, compare research results and share lessons learned from major underground and submarine cable projects.

For more than 40 years, Jicable has contributed to the advancement of energy cable technologies by connecting scientific expertise, industrial innovation and operational experience. Jicable’27 will also mark the 100th anniversary of CIGRE Study Committee B1, reflecting a long-standing connection with the High- and Extra-High-voltage underground and submarine cable community.
